Mafia Game - is a social deductive game with detective story involves 10-20 persons at the table reaching the main goal through discussions, arguments, social behavior and acting. The game models a conflict between two groups: the Mafiosi and the Civilians and the team whose member reaches the end of the game wins.
The task of the Civilians is to understand who the Mafia is, then the Mafia tries to pretend the peaceful until the end and “killing” citizens one by one during the night phase, while others sleep tight.

How to play Mafia game?
For those of you who haven't played Mafia yet, you're in luck. It's easy to learn and a lot of fun for people of all ages.
Main rule
The city is divided into two groups: minority - the mafia and an uninformed majority - the civilians. Each player is secretly assigned a role affiliated with one of these teams by choosing a card.
The game has two phases: during the “night” mafia may covertly kill other players, but during a day discussions, surviving players debate the identities of players and vote to eliminate a suspect.
Night phase
The game Host tells everyone to go to sleep. All players close their eyes and cover faces with a mask as to not see what happens next. The Host then tells the Mafia players to wake up. Those players that drew the Mafia cards remove masks quietly and see who else is on their team. The host then asks the Mafia to point to the player they want to kill and after the host acknowledges their target, Mafia goes to sleep.
Day phase
The Host tells everyone to wake up and informs the player that was killed by the Mafia. The remaining players then have to debate who they think the Mafia are. The Mafia will act, bluff, lie, and pretend not to be the Mafia as not to get caught. Everyone votes for one player to “lynch” or kick out of town. That player is eliminated and its role will be disclosed.
Win conditions
The night phase comes again and the game continues until a faction achieves its win condition: for the Civilians, this usually means eliminating the evil minority, while for the minority this usually means reaching numerical parity with the peaceful town-people and eliminating any rival groups.
Roles
MAFIA - pretends a Civilian during the day, kills off all players in the game who are not Mafia during the night.
CIVILIAN - trying to figure out who the Mafia is by talking it out, accusing, and seeing who is acting suspicious. You'll feel like a real detective when you correctly identify the mafia, and you don't have to worry about bluffing since you're innocent.
There are additional roles to make a game more dynamic and to bring more variations to the scenario, so the game never looks the same:
DOCTOR - a Civilian who may choose one player each night to save. If the doctor saves the right player, that player is brought back into the game. The doctor can heal himself, but he cannot choose the same person two night in a row.
DETECTIVE - a Civilian who may inspect one player each night. Detective, sometimes called a Cop or Commissioner, point to a player he or she thinks is in the Mafia and the Host will nod their head yes or no. This role is perhaps the most fun, because once the detective begins to find out the identities of players, they can begin to make alliances with true civilians and or persuade the group to kill true mafia. But the main task is not reveal himself, because he is most delicious pray for mafia.
ANOTHER ROLES MAY APPEAR:
MANIAC - not Mafia nor Civilian. Has own night phase and chooses someone to kill. Only wins if he's the last person in the game.
MISTRESS - a Civilian, who may protect the player for being lynched and voted out by spending a night with him/her. She gives an "immunity" during the day voting after last night.
It's a pity, that in case of mafia visit to any of them, both will be killed and should leave the game together.
What if..
Once you are killed from the game, you are then allowed to see the identities of all players at night. You will be shocked to see who has been fooling you and will bond will the other players who have been killed. It is almost just as thrilling to watch the game take place—knowing all the identities—as it is to be alive playing. You will talk about it on your walk home and perhaps the next day.

Gameplay
Starting the Game:
Night Phase
Everyone now knows who they are but not each other. The Game Moderator will give these instructions.
Players, close your eyes and "go to sleep."
Mafia members only, wake up.
Mafia members, select a target to kill. (The mafia members silently nod or point to a target).
Mafia members, go to sleep.
Doctor, wake up and choose someone to save. (Doctor silently nods or points whom he wants to save).
Doctor, go to sleep.
Detective, wake up and choose someone to inspect and receive the answer from Moderator.
Cop, go to sleep.
Everyone, wake up!
Now, the Moderator presents a story detailing how the target of the Mafia unfortunately met their demise.
The Mafia's target is dead and out of the game (unless the doctor successfully saved them). They can keep their eyes open in future night phases, but can't reveal any information.
The remaining players now move to the day phase, which is the time to deduce one another identity! Now, players talk among themselves to see if they can figure out who in the group would have killed the target.
During this time, the group can vote to kill someone, suspecting them to be a Mafia member. A majority or tied-for-majority vote kills the player and reveals their card. If that player is one of the Mafia, congrats townsfolk, you're that much closer to winning! If the player is not in the Mafia, congrats mafia, you tricked the Civilians into killing innocent teammates!
